Sexul Dysfunctions
Sexual dysfunctions includes lack or loss of sexual desire and enjoyment, erectile incompetence, orgasmic dysfunction, premature ejaculation, excessive sexual drive.
Mental Disorders
Mental disorders associated with child birth like post partum psychosis. They usually start within 6 weeks of delivery. They can be of any type and span from psychosis, mania to depression, panic etc. and need appropriate treatment as per the symptomatology.
Personality Disorders
Paranoid personality disorder, schizoid personality disorder, cyclothymia, dissocial (antisocial personality), disorder, impulsive personality disorder, hysterical personality disorder, anxious personality disorder, dependent personality disorder. Personality disorders are long standing, ingrained patterns of behavior, often resistant to all types of therapies. They are labeled as mentioned above on the basis of the main theme of behavior.
Habit and Impulsive Control Disorder
These behavior patterns are repeated acts that have no clear rationale motivation and that generally harm the patient's own interest and those of other people .The behavior is due to impulses to action which cannot be controlled and the patient is often depressed as a consequence. Pathological gambling, Pyromania (Pathological fire setting), Kleptomania (Pathological stealing), Trichotillomania (Hair Plucking) are some of the examples.
Gender Identity Disorder
Transsexualism - A desire to live and be accepted as a member of the opposite sex. They feel as if they have been trapped in the body of alien sex. These people often go for sex change procedures. Dual role transvestism.
