Basically the pattern followed by international classification of mental and behavior disorders -10 (ICD-10, WHO 1992) is followed but the list has been simplified and modified to make it more comprehensible for lay people. It is meant to be a preliminary guide only and the reader is directed to consult the clinician for proper interpretation and guidance into the matter.
